Patrick J. Gallagher
Patrick graduated in 2006 with high honors from Kettering University (formerly General Motors Institute (GMI)) having received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering. He completed a thesis titled, "Threading Operations in 380-Aluminum." With long held aspirations of becoming one of our world-class aviation lawyers and working in aviation law, Patrick attended law school at Thomas M. Cooley Law School at night and on weekends while working full time as an engineer at General Motors. He received his Juris Doctor in late 2009 and joined the firm in 2010.
A degree in mechanical engineering is an advantage in aviation litigation. Since joining Katzman, Lampert & McClune, Patrick has solved difficult engineering problems in product liability cases the firm is handling; assisted in negotiating multimillion dollar settlements for clients; and participated in trial preparation of complex cases. As an advocate, Patrick is deeply committed to obtaining the best result for clients, blending his skills as an engineer and attorney to the advantage of our clients.
Patrick is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court, Eastern District of Michigan and has been admitted as necessary to several jurisdictions while working on cases.
